            Trinity Church, 5200 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC

When:

MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL

            Mon.  Feb. 10, 2025 at 6:30

CONCERT –

            Tue. Feb. 11, 2025

            Arrive at 6:30 to setup and tune

CONCERT begins at 7:00

Equipment:

If you haven't given me them to me yet, signed liability waiver and image release.

Violin, bow, rosin, shoulder pad.

If you’re reading music:

1.     Any printed music in concert order in a 3-ring binder (no plastic sheet protectors,)

2.     Music stand AND

3.     Pencil.

    Everyone is invited to play the tune.

    Those in Book 3 & up may play the duet on the Book 1 pieces listed below.

    Those in Book 4 & up may play the duet on the next group of pieces.

CONCERT ORDER

If you’re reading music, please put your music in concert order, in a 3-ring binder that will lie flat on your stand.

Please do not put the music in plastic sleeves. Instead, punch holes and leave the paper exposed so that you can write on it easily.

DETAILED REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Jan. 13

Everyone at 6:30

We’ll try to play all of the program’s music.

Rehearse in order of difficulty. 

You may leave when you’ve played

all of your music.

We’ll end at 8:30, no matter what.

 

Mon. Jan. 20 - MLK Day

Eve will have remote individual AND group lessons. At group, plan to play through all of the Ensemble Concert pieces. A Zoom recording will be made for future practice.

 

Sat. Jan. 25 - 7:30 at Dana Auditorium, Guilford College

     Eve’s playing a solo with the Philharmonia. 

     Come hear.  Free admission.

 

Mon. Jan. 27

6:30 A & B

7:30 C & D – focus on Suzuki & McLean pieces

 

Mon. Jan. 27 GCS workday; lessons as usual.

The entire group will be devoted to “Eine Kleine”
